ContractAre you an experienced Quality Control Technician or Raw Material Sampler? Do you have experience working within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment? If so, this could be the role for you!
We are partnered with a leading global manufacturing business who are looking to hire a Raw Material Sampler to join their Quality Control team.
This role is responsible for ensuring incoming raw materials meet quality standards through accurate sampling, testing and investigation activities while supporting regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
This role is offered initially for 6 months with the potential for renewal. You will be working 06:00-14:00 Mon-Fri, a rewarding shift premium is paid as part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample incoming raw materials in accordance with approved procedures.
- Perform quality testing against established specifications.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding quality concerns and non-conformances.
- Ensure laboratory equipment remains calibrated and compliant.
- Work in accordance with GMP, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support Environmental Health & Safety initiatives within the laboratory.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.
- Ensure testing activities are completed within agreed service levels.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience within Quality Control, Laboratory Operations or Raw Material Sampling.
- Experience working in a GMP regulated environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good colour vision and ability to identify visual differences in materials.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience within cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing or similar industries would be advantageous.
